Our History

CCM is dedicated to Reach the lost, Rebuild the broken lives and Raise them as a Disciple. It was established by Rev. Dr. M. Vincent Samuel in the year 1981 and is now led by Pr. V. Premnath Samuel over the past 20 years. Three and half decades has elapsed since this ministry had its inception.

Our ministries, started as Calvary Community Church with a charismatic Pentecostal fellowship at Adyar, Chennai. Later it was branched out at another two locations in the same city. Furthermore, the ministry is extended in many other parts of India and beyond.

We believe

  • In one true triune God – the Father, Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit
  • Mankind have inherited sin and have fallen short of God’s glory
  • God so loved us, that He sent His only Son Lord Jesus Christ as a redemption for our sins
  • Lord Jesus Christ lived an exemplary life doing good
  • He died on the cross for our sins and was buried
  • He rose again from death on the third day and ascended to heaven
  • He has promised to return and sent His Holy Spirit to be with us
  • In this Jesus whoever believes and repents of his sins will be forgiven and have eternal life
  • The believers will externally affirm by obeying God in the baptism of waters and of the Holy Spirit
  • The church is the family of families of such believers living as one body of Christ
  • The purpose of church is Great Commission – Evangelism to the world and Edification of believers
  • The church-families of family will fellowship at the Lord’s Supper regularly until His return remembering His sufferings for our abundant life
  • The glorious return of our Lord Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead
  • The believers are called to be vigilant and prayerful, living exemplary lives reflecting Christ
